We are CLUB GEWALT. We are a music and performance collective from Rotterdam. We make, compose, produce and perform our own work in which music is always the beginning, the middle and the end. We love autotune as much as we love Monteverdi.
Fascinated by pop culture and the experiences of the millennial, we create universes where different genres and disciplines intersect to form a new sensory experience: musicals about the end of the world, meditative operas, eco-feminist punk bands, quirky radio art and monuments to a drowning city. We are addicted to our audience and, on the eve of the apocalypse, sing our lungs out in an attempt to unlock an alternative timeline.
